Some people can be unsuitable for this treatment but alternative treatments can be discussed during consultation. The safest, most used product for filler is Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is naturally occurring and already found in your skin. It helps to keep skin plump and hydrated as it can hold up to 1000x it’s molecular weight in water. HA fillers are typically soft and gel-like. Most HA fillers are infused with lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during and after treatment. Dermal fillers can typically last for 6-12 months or longer before the body gradually and naturally absorbs the particles. Some filler types can stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture, elasticity, and overall health too!
